In 2005, Insotect, the global leader in outdoor-gear insulation system technology, innovated a seamless insulation system with a unique bland of breathable weather protection and distinctive seamless styling.

Challenge

The new technology was positioned in the exclusive niche category and demand a higher price premium. We needed to signify its exclusivity and extraordinary functions at the same time.

Brand Advantage™

We began by creating the name "SeamZero" to emphasize the product's seamless construction, unsurpassed water protection, and perfection that is related to exclusivity. Yellow was used as the primary color for the brand as it is associated with warmth and warning signs that protect outdoor enthusiasts from the elements. We then established the brand's visual identity as a part of Insotect's universal visual system and created powerful marketing assets such as the brand identification system and North American-wide print media advertising. In the very same year it was launched, Backpacker Magazine Gear Guide honoured the SeamZero™ technology through the Big Agnes Nugget sleeping bag that it empowered.
